Mentawai

1. GKI-Humanitarian Mentawai III started the day with a morning prayer 9/12/10 led by Dr. Lady Valiant.

2. Medical Team of 8 doctors were divided into 3 squads.

a. Team A serving at the health center in Sikakap, serving 9 referral patients. Team A in addition to serving patients also helped officers tidy up the drug warehouse.

b. Team B served in the direction of Pagai Utara. The villages being served are Dusun Taekako, Desa Muara Tekako, Kecamatan Pagai Utara, there were 67 patient tended and Dusun Betu Monga, Desa Betu Monga, Kecamatan Pagai Utara, where 26 patients were tended to. Aside from medical services the medical team also conducted trauma healing for children. In order to strengthen the faith of the people, GKI-Humanitarian Mentawai III also distributed free bibles and some Saat Teduh books.

c. Team C served in the direction of Pagai Selatan. The villages being served is Dusun Sabiret where 67 patient are tended to and Dusun Eru Paraboat where 50 patients are tended to, both are in Desa Malakopa, Kecamatan Pagai Selatan. Aside from medical services the medical team also conducted trauma healing for children. In both villages, GKI-Humanitarian Mentawai III also distributed free bibles and some Saat Teduh books.

3. Team GKI Mentawai III prepared some garbage bins, seen how flies and mosquitos are gathering due to the garbage pilling up which can be a source of diseases.

4. Team GKI Mentawai III conducted spiritual counselling for the people of Dusun Purourogat Utara, Desa Malakopa, Kecamatan Pagai Selatan by distributing 42 biblesfor the 42 tsunami surviving families.

5. Team GKI Mentawai III ended the service on 9/12/10 with evening evaluation and reflection led by Dr. Vera Lazuardi with the reading from Yes. 30 :18 . (Jusak i. Indrawan)
